Yellow Kid -> William Randolph Hearst -> Citizen Kane -> Xanadu -> Coleridge -> Ancient Mariner?

Good job. You mined the internet and reinvented the wheel by asserting the law of six degrees of freedom :).

Thank God for those slips.... Apparently this 'yellow kid' was the source of the term 'yellow journalism'. I might just have managed to piss MV off by rg'ing the intended target!

:))

That is a stud connect, G!! I think it is valid since each of the links are stud..!! You have certainly Rg'ed MV if there was another connect! :) I was trying to go through yellow kid and these lines from Rime of the Ancient Mariner:

Her lips were red, her looks were free,
Her locks were yellow as gold :
Her skin was as white as leprosy,
The Night-mare LIFE-IN-DEATH was she,
Who thicks man's blood with cold.

After googling up the ancient mariner statue.... :)

But not much of a connect there!! :)

The stage is for you now, G...! :)

I will pass this time. Can one of you who has a question restart the thread?

Yes, the connection is correct.

It came from a 3 question connect I had for an earlier quiz. For those
who have enthu (except Gunti, who knows the answer now), here is the
third question:
Listen to the audio piece attached and identify the speaker, and
ofcourse connect it to the other 2 pictures sent earlier.

MV.. is that Orson Welles about his "War of the Worlds" radio show?

If so, the connect would fit in Citizen Kane...

Yes, its the "Martians have landed" radio adaptation read out by Orson Welles
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_War_of_the_Worlds_(radio)

It was meant to be the mid-point of the seemingly long connection chain ;-)
