It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce the major release of TRIP version 1.1.0

You may download it from http://www.imcce.fr/trip/

Here's a list of the new features available in TRIP 1.1.0 :

The new features are :
- new representations for polynomials (see keyword : _mode)
- large improvement for the multiplication of sparse polynomials :
time execution reduced by a factor up 6 and better speedup on multicores
(for more information, see articles in http://www.imcce.fr/trip/doc.php )
- Differentiation and integration of polynomials (see keyword : integ, deriv)
- upgrade of the externallibraries MPC 0.8.2 and SCSCP 0.6
- conversion of numerical values from NUMRATMP to NUMFPMP
- support C++ comments //
- inf and sup returns the lower and upper bound of an array
- extract part of a string with the operator []
- output of msg could be assigned to a string
- user can specify gnuplot and grace path in tripstudio (windows)
- output coloration for the workspace in tripstudio (windows)

The bug fixes are :
- malformatted OpenMath reference (OMR) in the SCSCP protocol
- malformatted answer for the get_service_description request in the SCSCP protocol
- binary encoding for the content dictionnary scscp2 is supported in the SCSCP protocol
- invalid error message in some cases in the SCSCP protocol
- output problem with complex vectors with numerical mode NUMFPMP
- atan2 works with numerical mode NUMFPMP and NUMRATMP
- evalnum works with numerical mode NUMRATMP
- int works with numerical mode NUMFPMP and NUMRATMP
- plot supports array of strings as the last argument
- maple_get works with vectors and lists.
- can't send command to gnuplot if another window is called "gnuplot"
- On windows 7, the history can't be created
- hangs if vectors are empty with the operator [:]
- can't load external function on recent 64-bit systems.- documentation of scscp_put is fixed

Known issues :
- On windows, if the SCSCP server is running by the application tripstudio.exe,
this server doesn't display any information.
But it executes correctly any command sent by any SCSCP client.
The executable trip.exe doesn't have this issue.

Open-source project developed under the TRIP project :
- SCSCP C Library : http://www.imcce.fr/trip/scscp/
