Hi -
First of all, thanks for reaching out to us and offering to sponsor
TRINUG in some way. Our members really appreciate working with
companies who are interested in supporting the local .NET user group,
and often look to those consulting firms first when considering new
employment. It's a targeted, focused and easy win-win for both your
company and our members!
We have several planned sponsorship opportunities during the year, and
would consider any idea's you can come up with too.
- One way our sponsor contribute is providing dinner (usually pizza)
for our Main Monthly meeting. At this time however we are completely
covered for 2011.
- Another way to contribute is our Special Events, in particular, the
annual Code Camp is extremely popular. This one day event is usually
in the Fall (date not yet selected) and attendance is ~100-150.
- We've been toying with the notion of having sponsors for the other 3
Special Interest Group (sig) meetings we have each month. The
attendance for the sigs is usually 8-15 folks.
- Another possibility is to cover the 'after party' for any of these
meetings. Often a smaller number of folks go to grab a bite to eat or
a cup of coffee after the sigs and hangout for a few hours. This is a
good time to network with others and the conversation almost always
turns to job opportunities at some point.
- We offer swag at meetings… perhaps some technical books with your
business card?

In return for sponsorship, we can offer you time in any meeting you
sponsor to talk about your company, pass out business cards, talk
about job opportunities, etc. We can also post your company's logo and
bio up on our website, and in the newsletter the week of the meeting.

If any of these options sound interesting to you, let me know and we
can get something organized.
