Clear property is available to which controls in .net?

can you provide a bit more context to your question?

- is this a web app (webforms or mvc) or winforms or wpf, silverlight,
or console?
- or are you doing an html, css, or database access thing?
- c#, vb.net, javascript, or ironRuby?

- what are you hoping to accomplish?
- trying to clear what?
