Primary Purpose:
Top level technical expert responsible for supporting a major application or group of related applications within an IT Section. May be called upon to instruct, direct and check the work of programmers, analysts and other team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Work as a technical expert with clients, analysts, programmers and other team members to develop technical solutions to complex business problems in support of Phone Channel / Call Center applications. Experience with CTI (Telephony) is desired.
2. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
3. Prepare detailed specifications from which complex programs will be written.
4. Instruct, direct, and quality assure the work of other programmers and analysts.
5. Provide application support, which includes problem research, analysis, resolution, and on-call support.
6. Work with QA/Testing groups to resolve issues and to ensure software quality.
Required Skills and Competencies:

1. Two/four degree in IS related curriculum or equivalent education and related training
2. Six to ten years experience or equivalent proficiency in application design and programming
3. Extremely competent in all phases of applications systems analysis, design, and programming
