The installation of jellyfish puts that .so file under /usr/local/lib on my system.   If you need to, you can

  export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}

If it's not at /usr/local/lib, then just adjust it to wherever it is located.

more info on installing is here:

and jellyfish developers have a 'contact us' link for support as a last resort.

Hi, Brian,
I met with a new problem when running Trinity as follows:

jellyfish: error while loading shared libraries: libjellyfish-2.0.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Use of uninitialized value $version in pattern match (m//) at ./Softwares/trinityrnaseq-Trinity-v2.6.5/Trinity line 3655.
Error, need jellyfish v2, instead found  ; Get it here: http://www.genome.umd.edu/jellyfish.html at ./Softwares/trinityrnaseq-Trinity-v2.6.5/Trinity line 3656.

How to solve it, please?
