Y axis play

I now own 3 Aluminati, and all of them have a bit of side play in the Y axis; that is, you can shift the build plate a little bit back and forth in the X direction.  Has anyone taken the time to try to minimize this play?  I imagine that the adjustment means getting at the Y rail, which could be pretty time consuming.  Happy for any hints.
