I'm still using my Aluminatus a bit, but the USB connection has become
unreliable, so I hooked up the LCD display.  The LCD menu system is,
well, dated.  I can't see how to move in Z, for example, nor can I do a
Z Home (to verify extruder/build plate distance).  I can use Repetier
Host, at least until the USB connection dies.  I would upgrade to a
modern Marlin, but have no idea how many settings I would need to come
up with, and what their values are.  I know I have the old Marlin
source: it would just be more work than I want.

Long shot.  Anyone have a modern-ish Marlin on their Aluminatus that
they could share?

Thanks!

Jon

I've got nothing for you.  The original LCD display on my A1 (serial number 10) has started to develop dead pixels and I couldn't even get that swapped out with what seemed to be a direct replacement.  Seems a few of us have kept these things running.  Let us know if you find a way to upgrade the controls.
