PLANS UNVEILED AT MEETING, VOLUNTEERS RESPOND
Fourteen people attended the unveiling of the Trinity Eco Prayer Park
plan on November 6. Nine turned in response forms and volunteered to
help in the following ways (with the number who expressed interest):
plant (5); mow (2); weed (4); landscape (4); drive (1); collect native
plants (5); cultivate native plants (3); materials for benches (1);
provide rocks (2); use of dump truck (1) and pick-up truck (2). Some
offered their own suggestions for helping which included 2 logs from
an 1880s cabin, cooking food for volunteers on work days, graphic
design work for brochures, collect plants on 40 acres of private land.
One individual gave a check and pledged to make a donation each month
for the next 36 months.

Upcoming opportunities to learn more about Trinity Eco Prayer Park:
11/27 – Video slide presentation in the Library/lounge between
services
11/30 – (tentative) Press Conference in the Library/lounge
12/13 – Video slide presentation at the December council meeting
12/14 – Video slide presentation at the Advent study following the
meal

of these presentations. (You could even offer to go with them.) If you

PARK WORK GROUP PLANS FIRST MEETING
Thanks to a suggestion at the Park Plan Unveiling we have decided to
form a work group of individuals who would like to be actively
involved in getting the park built. The first meeting of the group
will be Monday, Nov. 28 at 6:30 pm in the Library/lounge at Trinity.
We will be looking at coming up with a Strategic Plan for park
completion that will include developing an Awareness Campaign, a
Funding Plan, and Volunteer Coordination. Please consider joining us
and inviting others.
SPECIFIC VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
- A webmaster to set up and help maintain a Trinity Eco Prayer Park
website
- A person to set up and maintain a system (spreadsheet) to keep track
of volunteers and the tasks they are interested in helping with
