Due to additional back burning for some fires in the downriver
corridor Weaverville, Junction City and other areas may experience
additional heavy smoke for the next week.
"Air Respite Centers" have been set up at the following locations:
Weaverville -
Trinity Hospital Cafeteria
60 Easter Avenue
(530) 623 - 5541
Please call ahead if outside of 9am - 5pm Monday thru Friday
Hayfork -
Roderick Senior Center
(During Business Hours)
(530) 628 - 4692 (call to confirm hours)
An additional center is being explored for the downriver corridor and
I will update
this mailing list when that is determined.
