It is with great pleasure that I am proud to announce that in this most
recent election cycle that Trinity County California experienced an
amazing 71.15% voter turnout. There is a chance that we may have been
the highest participation by county nationwide.
It is also my pleasure to report that the measures to form and fund our
potential hospital districit (Measures O & P) passed by 76.5 % and
74.5% respectively. I am so proud of the citizens of Trinity County
for approving both of these measures to establish a Health Care
District and the funding mechanism to support it.
My thanks go out to Trinity Public Utilities District, the MCMS
Hospital employees, the citizens of Trinity County, the Trinity Cares
team, CSAC and especially the citizens within the proposed district who
overwhelmingly supported these meaures. Thank you Hayfork, Lewiston,
Trinity Center, Douglas City, Junction City, Big Bar, Big Flat, Helena,
Del Loma, Salyer, Burnt Ranch, Covington Mill, Forest Glen,
Weaverville and all the hard work provided by all those involved.
My deepest appreciation goes out to you all. We have only the blue sky
to limit our opportunity.
Best Regards,
Jeff Morris
Trinity County Supervisor - District 2
