UPDATE
6/29 - 9AM

FYI- There will be a Town Hall Public Meeting at Hayfork High School
in the cafeteria on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. regarding the
fires in the area.

President Bush issued an emergency declaration for California as
supported by Sen. Boxer, Sen. Feinstein and Governor Schwarzenegger of

Hwy 299 - West of Junction City OPEN - check with Cal Trans for
periodic closures

Highway 36 is CLOSED
There is restricted use of Mad River Road east of Ruth Store

Iron Complex - Junction City Area

ALL EVACUATIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED IN RELATION TO THE IRON COMPLEX
Includes but not limited to:
Junction City (Canyon Creek, Red Hill, Sanger, Coopers Bar)
West of Junction City (Bigfoot Campground & Trailer Park)
Helena Area (Including East Fork Rd, Hobo Gulch, Barney Gulch)


Lime Complex Fire (South of Hayfork, Hyampom)
Voluntary Evacuation - Wildwood

Trinity County Animal Shelter is sheltering small animals

Smoke Alert
Soft non-respirator type masks are available free of charge while
supplies last at Trinity County Health and Human Services. Supplies of
these masks will be made available at the Junction City Store,
Weaverville Elementary Evacuation Center and Hayfork Health Center.
