INCOMING STORM TRIGGERS SYNCHRONIZED FLOW - TRRP Sends Request to Raise Flows at Lewiston Dam
The Trinity River Restoration Program has requested a change to river flows on the Trinity River below Lewiston Dam for ecological purposes. The predicted incoming storm meets the requirements to trigger a synchronized storm pulse flow.
The request to Central Valley Operations is to increase river flows mid-morning on Wednesday, Dec. 24 to peak at 6500 cfs during the overnight hours between Dec. 25 and Dec. 26.

Recreating along the Trinity River is not advised until the storm passes and flows recede. If you live along the river (or any tributaries), please make sure to move items from the river's edge.
