The 2024 water year hydrograph, which is pending final approval by the U.S. Department of the Interior, was discussed and modeled by the TRRP Flow Workgroup. If the recommended hydrograph is approved, flows will increase from Lewiston Dam staring April 16, 2024, peaking at a daily average of 8,500 cubic feet per second on April 24. A gentle recession from that peak is designed to maximize riparian vegetation objectives.

The California Department of Water Resources April B120 Water Year designation is expected on April 10, 2024. The DWR's current prediction is the most likely water year type for the Trinity River watershed is "wet", which will set the TRRP volume release at 701,000 acre feet for the year.

Please visit: 2024 Restoration Flow Release Schedule to download the flyer (also attached here) view daily averages and to stay informed of any changes to the recommended hydrograph.

We are available by phone (530) 623-1800 or email <in...@trrp.net> if you have any questions regarding the recommended 2024 spring restoration flow schedule.

Cheers,
Kiana
