To Your Lordship The Honourable Mr Justice Herbert Volney
Salutations and Greetings from South of the Caroni River that you must visit occasionally for that is the heartland, engine and pistons of the UNC.
I, Stephen Kangal am a card-carrying member of the UNC and political publicist long before you relinquished your sojourn from the cloistered and non-political portals of the Hall of Justice. Additionally, Your Lordship in your new incarnation you do not hand judgments without the right of appeal of the offended party. You have to make a situational change. Stephen Kangal did not take a vow of silence in the face of obvious injustice/ non-compliance with PPG stated policy position and my duty to sound the alarm bell as an expression of my concern for the success of the PPG Have you attended any of the consultations on the policy of multiculturalism My Lord? Give us the benefit of your knowledge of the diverse culture of T&T especially of the constituency that you represent in Parliament.
.
I have been a credible and widely acclaimed agent provacateur for change in the political landscape of T&T long before those who were in the hallowed hall of justice today and the next day at George Earle Park delivering a most undiplomatic and unfortunate tirade using serpentine imagery. The house of the UNC can accommodate all shades of opinions. That is nature and nurture of the democratic process. In handing down your dictat Your Lorship there must be some ratio dicidendi for excommunicating me unilaterally from the People's Partnership including a listing of what remarks you consider to be factually incorrect and "unworthy". Rest assured that I am not a passive, docile, mendicant, plaintiff Johnny come lately in the politics and take the opportunity to refer you to www.trindadand tobagonews.com/ Kangal.shtml where my credentials to speak on national concerns are clearly and without inhibitions amply established, liberally documented and elegantly displayed.
Kindest regards to Your Distinguished Lordship.
STEPHEN KANGAL
Stephen Kangal you do not belong to the same People's Partnership to which I do. And if you are a member of the same UNC for which I am a Member of Parliament I am disappointed for your perpetuation of unworthy remarks.
My regards

To: Jahajee...@yahoogroups.comMinister Peters is going against the grain of the policy pronouncements of PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar when he refuses to promote and embed the fundamentals of multiculturalism because of some fixation that Indian culture is an importation that is not needed and dispensable. Why is there no ethnic and cultural balance at the Culture Ministry? When will we have an Indian as the culture Minister after decades of African incumbents and dominance? Can you not trust an Indian to preside over the balanced and equitable spread, definition, elaboration and development of the diverse culture of T&T? This task is beyond the tribal insularity and polarity of Gypsy who cannot extricate himself from his kaiso and extempo moorings and see the cultural expressions of others as being legitimate and entitled to gain access to the patrimoney of the state. We already have an NJAC cultural ambassador to Caricom and now we are further saddled with an NJAC deputy Minister at the domestic level both of whom have no electoral value to the PPG to further embellish the afro-centric flavour and definition of what is T&T culture and of which I have agonised and been stressed up for too long when I fooled myself into thinking that this injustice would end under the PPG. Why are we promoting the politics of abdication and feeling among ourselves that we are not entitled to govern T&T by the divine right to rule and must therefore seek validation from external sources or forces? Is this the rental arrangement for T&T being PNM country?

Minister Peters has not demonstrated fairness and equality; his Ministry still hasn't given grants to several groups, his Ministry is a disaster, his Ministry is packed with PNM hacks, now he and the NJAC rep are supposed to preside over a fair and equitable Minsitry.... the Indo community knows about the infamous PNM divide and rule so Minister Peters and the PP govt should not try that... more to come ... see below for one example of Minister Peters' notorious bumbling, victimization and plain nastiness.

Although Minister Peters have told the Organization that the payments are and have been processed. This took place since May 2010. Minister Peters seems to want to deliberately Stop the competition because as Sat Maharaj said He just do not recognize East Indian culture as Culture, because he does not know anything about it.
How, can this happen after 17consective years Gypsy can just do that, he cannot and would not do that to CALYPSO or TUCO. he instead, spent millions of dollars and build major infrastructure for TUCO at the QPS for carnival 2011, with the full knowledge that a Court injunction has prevented TUCO from doing any business and they cant even have a meeting or hold any official transaction, But Peters spent millions in support of tuco and condoning the breaking of Laws , WHY????

Local artiste Maximus Dan, promoter Daryl Braxton and others associated with the "Localise Itt" initiative by the Ministry of Sport are claiming they are being owed money.
Braxton, CEO of HyPro Ltd and D Project Records, told the Express about $1 million was outstanding from the campaign launch in August last year.
He claimed they have been getting the runaround by Minister Anil Roberts and his ministry since last October when the company and the suppliers were to have been paid.
Maximus Dan, real name Edghill Thomas, confirmed he has not yet been paid for his services for the "Localise Itt" campaign, which featured Nicki Minaj.
"I trust Government would be wise enough to get their house in order in regard to this situation and this particular ministry," he said.
He said a number of young people were involved in the campaign, and they are still yet to be paid.
Roberts, in a brief telephone interview with the Express, said he did not deal with payments, but it is the permanent secretary that was "in charge of any and all payments to any suppliers of goods and services".
Earlier, he had commented it was "election time", referring to the COP leadership election on July 3, and a lot of "stories" were going around.
Questioned whether he was aware of the situation, Roberts said he was "aware of many things" and repeated the Express should speak with the permanent secretary.
He also declined to have the interview taped.
Braxton said Maximus Dan, Ravi B and former junior calypso monarch Megan Waldron were contracted to sing the jingle, and they were supposed to be the face of the campaign that was scheduled to be a year long.
Maximus Dan noted he was part of the campaign from inception and was involved in promotion, the public concert and other activities.
He said the issue of payment was "obviously a burning issue", and he wanted to get over this hump and move on.See More
