The Honourable, Mr. Patrick Manning
Rehabilitation Needs in Trinidad & Tobago; A Stroke Patient's Perspective
Mr. Manning was the fourth and sixth Prime Ministers of Trinidad and Tobago. A geologist by training, Mr. Manning earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of the West Indies at Mona, Jamaica. On January 23, 2012, Mr. Manning suffered a stroke.
Dr. Nicole Ali, M.D.
Disparity in Access to Transplantation; Methods to Increase Access & Increase The Donor Pool
Dr. Ali will present Grand Rounds on Friday, June 6th, 2014 at the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medical Sciences, School of Medicine at St. Augustine, Trinidad.
Dr. Ali is a graduate of Brown University, Providence Rhode Island. She attended medical school at Stony Brook University, New York, completed her residency and nephrology fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital, New York, and her pancreas and kidney transplant fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center, New York. She is currently the Medical Director of Transplantation as well as Chief of Transplantation Nephrology at Hackensack University Medical Center, New Jersey.

Miss Gomes is a graduate of American International College, Springfield, Massachusetts with M.Sc degree in Occupational Therapy. She is presently the OT representative on the Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Pathology Board on the Council of Professions Related to Medicine and a member of the Association of Caribbean Occupational Therapists.
