Hi everybody,
I have followed the beginning of 0x10c. I don't know what has been the evolution of the thing recently but I remember that it was an incredibly interesting idea.
Recently I started an initiative with some friends about creating some games/data-tools about space data to let people learn and get informed about space activities.
The aim is to use open data published by space agencies to develop games and data-viz that could be accessed by a web browser and that can improve collaboration and
crowd-sourcing in the space industry. You can find some starting information at
http://pramantha.netWe are trying to model a spacecraft with W3C's RDF standard, so we designed some vocabularies to base the research on spacecraft subsystems. Some more links can be found
here.
If somebody is interested in collaborating, you can
write me to have more news and resources.
We mostly look for Javascript/Python developer, but also game designers to play with data structures and model experiences.
It would be great to design a game that involves engineering and data science.
Regards.
Lorenzo
