Title: Tableau BI Developer

Location: Cambridge, MA..

Duration: 6+ months

 

Job description:

 

Essential Functions:

 

•        Works in conjunction with staff and customers to define Tableau reporting requirements

•        Design, develop, and maintain reports and multi-level dashboards in Tableau

•        Design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations

•        Works with IS&T Data Warehouse team members to design and implement solutions in alignment with the project schedule

•        Adheres to data management standards, policies and procedures

•        Communicate complex topics to team through both written and oral communications

 

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

 

•        Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

•        2-4 years of experience building visualization solutions with Tableau

•        At least 2 year of total BI experience

•        Excellent SQL programming skills required

•        Experience gathering and refining requirements, interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements is required

•        Strong attention to detail, documenting business and technical requirement based on user interviews is required

•        Experience with SAP is a plus

•        Excellent client-facing communication skills

•        Excellent problem solving, design, debugging and testing skills
