Title: Data Modeler

Location: Watertown, MA

Duration: 3-6 months

 

Job Description:

 

Important Skills:

 Technical  

·         ER Studio, Oracle, Data Modeling Experience, SQL, PL/SQL

 

 Soft  

·         Able to hit the ground running, quick learner, strong communication

 

 

EDUCATION:

·         BS in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent level of relevant experience required

 

EXPERIENCE:

·         Minimum 5 years of data modeling experience.

 

PROFICIENCY IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

·          Data modeling (relational, dimensional and hierarchical).

·          Generation of ER Models with ER Studio

·          Physical database designs including sizing, Views, Triggers, Indexing strategies, Partitioning, etc.

·          Oracle11g, 12

·          SQL, PL/SQL

·          Data Profiling and data governance standards

·          Standard SDLC processes such as waterfall or Agile

·          Good communication skills - polished, concise, proactive, timely, and appropriate for the setting/forum. 

·          Ability to work with moderate supervision

·          Detail oriented, organized, able to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines and coordinate schedules with others.
