Welcome to the 2016 HEAT Season

Greetings!

I hope everyone is staying warm!  Our first HEAT meeting will be held on January 31^st at 3pm at the Sumner County YMCA. During our meeting, we will vote on our 2 nominees for Board of Directors – Marilyn Meyer and Mike Scheetz as well as hear more about our Kid’s Triathlon on August 6^th from Carrie Haapala.  Directly after our meeting, our sponsor X3 will lead a swim clinic for our HEAT members.  We have lanes reserved so bring your suits!

If you haven't already done so, you can register for the 2016 season here. We will have HEAT shirts as our member gifts this year - you can select either a running singlet or short sleeved shirt along with your size at registration.  Register by January 31st so we can hopefully have them for Tom King. If you don't want to pay online, Craig Ostrom will be happy to take a check from you at the meeting.

Please check out our website at www.triheat.com.  The race calendar on the website has been updated for 2016.   Add your name to the race(s) you are participating in. If your race is not on the calendar, please add it.  We are starting up the mentoring program again, so please let me know if you are interested in serving as a mentor and what discipline.  We'll get that section added to the website soon.
