Old powertools problem

Hello,

 

I am new to this group. My organization still uses the 2009 CMS and there is no chance that it will be upgraded to 2011 version in next two years. Currently I am trying to make the cross copy functionality work. It seems for any item type, I get an error “Error saving item: ” I do not get any error code though and looking at the code, I can see it does not even validate whether the error code is zero or not.  It seems the newitem.save() does not work at all, but prior to that it seems perfect as I have put debug messages and have printed the XMLs, which seems perfect. I need to fix this and any suggestion would be very helpful.

Hi Sankar,

Sorry to hear you're having some trouble.

This group is for the new powertools for tridion 2012.  I propose you ask your question (and show your error message) on Stackoverflow.com and tag the question 'tridion'.

The members within the powertools group are on stackoverflow (annoyingly almost 24 hours a day!) so I'm sure you'll get a super fast answer.
