All,
Ann Dillon, a local triathlete and friend, is this year's race director for a local 5k happening this weekend on Sunday: Safe Passage 5k & Community Fiesta.  If you're interested, check it out!

Here's a few words from Ann about the event:

"I am attaching the poster for the Safe Passage 5k & Fiesta - I am very excited about our progress - especially having Primo Cubano playing at the fiesta!!!  I hope you can come and bring some of your tri buddies!

Bring the family - FUN RUN for Kids and games during the fiesta!"

Here's some information from the website:  Safe Passage 5k & Community Fiesta

Safe Passage 5K

== Featuring live, Maine-made cuban music by Primo Cubano ==

The 2016 Community Fiesta is on Sunday, May 1, 2016.

This year's race includes an all-new afternoon schedule and post-race community fiesta with live music by Primo Cubano and family-friendly fun!

The Annual Safe Passage 5K road race takes place each year in Cumberland, Maine. Registrants are encouraged to fundraise and generate direct support for Safe Passage's mission to foster hope, education, and opportunity for impoverished children and families living and working in the Guatemala City garbage dump.

Our race is made possible thanks to generous donations from our many sponsors! Please consider making a donation today!
