Let's meet at 7:30AM at SMCC and do the Tri for a Cure course. Hopefully this weekend will be drier for those of you who did race last weekend. 

At SMCC you can park anywhere on campus -- But let's meet at the big parking lot by the McKernan Center ( first right past the Chapel on Fort Rd, where the TFAC bike transition is located)


Estimated Start times:

Swim start 7:30am
Bike Start: 8:10am
Run Start: 9:15

Swim Route


Bike Route

START in transition area on SMCC campus
LEFT on Fort Rd.
Follow straight though stop signs at Campus Center Drive
At stop sign LEFT on Preble St.
****CAUTION – ENTERING WILLARD SQUARE****
RIGHT on Pillsbury St. (Willard Square w/Scratch Bakery)
RIGHT on Chase St. Chase Street. Chase Street curves to the left before reaching Sawyer.
At Stop sign LEFT on Sawyer St.
At traffic light CROSS Cottage Rd. to go STRAIGHT on Sawyer St.
****THIS IS A MAJOR INTERSECTION. BIKES MAY BE STOPPED HERE DUE TO HEAVY TRAFFIC PATTERNS****
RIGHT to stay on Sawyer St. prior to meeting Ocean Ave.
CROSS Ocean Ave. to continue STRAIGHT on Sawyer Rd. (traffic light)

At stop sign LEFT to continue on Sawyer Rd. (intersection of Sawyer/Fickett)

At stop sign LEFT on Route 77 North

After passing Cape Elizabeth High School RIGHT on Shore Rd. (4-way intersection in Cape E. ctr.)

RIGHT on Preble St. (car service center at turn)

RIGHT to continue on Preble St. (Willard Square w/Scratch Bakery)
RIGHT on Fort Rd.
RIGHT into LOT B (Transition Area)


Run Route


From the starting gate, turn left to McKernan Drive
Turn right to Fort Road
Turn left to Osprey
Follow Osprey – bear left to Slocum (not up hill)
Quickly bear right to Adams – when you reach the parking lot take a left up Adams.
At the top of Adams cross the street take right and run on left side of Benjamin Pickett
Cross Broadway and turn left on Broadway you will run on the sidewalk on the right hand side of Broadway
Turn right on Preble Ext.
Turn right on Greenbelt
Cross to left side of Madison
Follow Madison to the end of the parking lot staying on the left side of parking lot
Turn Right to Bug Light Park trail
Follow Bug Light Park trail all the way around to the exit
Follow to Madison running on left side of street
Take Left to Breakwater
Cross Broadway to Benjamin Pickett
Take a left to Adams
Follow Adams to water and take right into Parking Lot F (Osprey)
Take right through Lighthouse Circle
Take a left to Bunker Lane
Follow to path left around the Electronics Building
Follow pathway until you reach SMCC Cafeteria
Take right through lot EE
Take another right to Shoreway Lane
FINISH!

I will be there for swim and bike, and perhaps the run!

I'm a maybe.  Peaks to Portland is on Saturday and I need to get in a (very) long ride on Sunday so I'll have to see how everything goes!  Weather looks great for Sunday though!
