Parking: We'll meet at Crystal Lake in Gray. Link to location here: map
Swim (7:00 am): We'll meet in the parking lot at 7:00 and plan to get in the water at 7:15. Swim duration and distance will be up to each individual, but in general we'll try to buddy up and swim parallel to the western shore for about 30-45 min.
Bike (8:00 am): Two options – one is a 21 mile Bike Route (mapmyride) and the other is a shorter loop that breaks off the longer loop: 13.4 mile Bike Route (mapmyride). Both courses are reasonably hilly. We can decide on Friday which course to do or if there should be two groups. This will be a no-drop ride!
For the bike leg, we'll meet at 8:00 in the parking lot at Crystal Lake to get ready, and we'll aim to start at 8:15. Depending on distance and pace chosen by the group, the bike may take between 1 and 2 hours and should finish between 9:15 and 10:15.
Run (9:30 to 10:30 am): 3.1 Miles Around the Lake (mapmyride) To complete the morning we'll have a scenic run around the lake, This map is shown running the loop clockwise, but running it counterclockwise (since part of the run is on Route 26) would be safer.
