According to STRAVA I have run for 18 hours and 45 minutes so far this year (would have been more if I didn't fracture my ankle but that is another story...)

With the average song being around 3 minutes long, that means I've listened to 375 songs this year while running.  I need to freshen up the playlist!

I have a few songs that always make my feet move a little faster, I would love to hear what yours are!

For your consideration, from my play list to yours:
- Shipping up to Boston,  Drop Kick Murphy's
- Berzerk, Eminem
- Lose Yourself, Eminem
- Tubthumping, Chumbawamba

Mind you, I don't run. But, if I am cycling by myself (not safe in a group), here are 10 from my playlist. I play these thru my phone, no ear buds of course:

Shots, Imagine Dragons
Dog Days Are Over, Florence and the Machine
Wake Me Up, Avici
Paint It Black, Rolling Stones
Bad Moon Rising, CCR
Wild Ones, Flo Rida
Shake It Out, Florence And the Machine
Riptide, Vance Joy
Pompeii, Bastille
Little Talks, Of Monsters and Men

Great thread!  I've been needing to find new music recently as mine is feeling all too familiar and doesn't quite motivate me the way it used to...

I'll look at my playlist and will report back on some of my most played.

I use jog.fm.com....you put in how long it takes you to run 1 mile and it gives you a song list and from there you can narrow down your search by genre, BPM, etc.

I love when I hear the drums on Shipping Up to Boston!

Here are some of my songs on my cardio playlist:

- Everlong, Foo Fighters (usually the first song I play)
- Heartbreaker, Pat Benatar
- Hash Pipe, Weezer
- Radar Love, Golden Earring
- Here it Goes Again, OK Go (it's a famous music video with the synchronized treadmill)
- Juicebox, The Strokes
- Delirious, Prince (great when I'm getting loopy from the run)
- Sally MacLeanne, The Pogues (kinda like the Dropkick Murphy's from the old country)
- Rhythm of the Night, Debarge (no matter how crappy I feel during the run, the silliness of the song and remembering the video makes me laugh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAQSZhazYk8)

What would I do without my playlists?? I'm not sure!  My friends and I use Spotify which I am loving. You can share playlists or listen to certain "moods" of music.  It does have a monthly fee (I think around $12) but if you are looking to mix up the music during cardio/strength training...I think it's money well spent.  My favs for getting my workout going are:

- Hell's Bells, AC/DC
- Whatta Man, Salt n Pepa (really anything by Salt n Pepa will get ya movin')
- She's the One, Bruce Springsteen
- Can I Kick It?, Tribe Called Quest (kinda slow but something about the beat makes me want to run)
- Blurred Lines, Robin Thicke
- Single Ladies, Beyonce
- Don't Stop Believin' - Journey
- Paradise By the Dashboard Lights - Meatloaf
- Send Me On My Way - Rusted Root
- Running Down a Dream - Tom Petty
- Ball and Biscuit -The White Stripes
- Catch Hell Blues - The White Stripes

Ok - I'll stop now hahaha. Check out Spotify...you won't be disappointed.
