[May 27] group swim at Crystal Lake with Doug Welling

All,

I've been working with Doug Welling on coordinating some group swims with his group from the Sustainable Athlete. There should be several such opportunities over the summer.

Although this is last-minute notice, I just learned that they will be at Crystal Lake tomorrow (Friday) morning starting at 6am. I will hopefully be there. Please let me know if you are interested and I can share more information.

I was able to rearrange my schedule so I will definitely be there. :)

The plan is to meet here and get in the water at 6am or shortly after. It is about a 35 min drive back to IDEXX and I plan exit the water around 7:15 and get back to IDEXX by 8am.

according to Doug there may be 5-6 people, probably swimming a mile at around 1:40 to 2:00 per 100 yard pace.

Crystal lake was great this morning. Didn’t feel cold at all! Don't know the actual temp but it felt like it was above 60 to me... :)

Doug Moore and I were there, and there was a good number (10-12?) of other swimmers out as well. Going to try to go back again soon.
