[May 7th] Polarbear Triathlon / Duathlon / Relay 2016

My first triathlon of the 2016 season is going to be the Polarbear in Brunswick.  It is a 525 yard pool swim, followed by 11.5 mile bike course and 3 mile run, so very doable for early in the season!

NICE one to kick off the season. 
I have done the duathlon twice.  running is on mix trail and pavement.  I wasn't a fish at the time for the swim part.

All, there's just under 8 weeks to go for the first local sprint tri of the season, and registration is still open.  That's just enough time to get a training plan in and have a nice race.  Also, the swim is in a pool so no wetsuit is required and the conditions will be very predictable!   It's a great goal to start off the season if you're not already training.    

I'll be there and I heard from Joe Coppolino that he's signing up too.
