Hi I'm trying to integrate AutoCad with Tririga with no luck. I have Java 7.0 64 bit but when installing the CAD integrator and accessing it through the IBM Tririga menu in CAD  - all the options are enabled and nothing happens when I click Login...
Any idea why?

Thanks !!

Sounds like the ARX file isn't loading.

At the command line, type: ARXLOAD and hit enter. (not case-sensitive)
    - if that command is not available type LOAD, and hit enter
    - at the next prompt type ARX
A dialog file select box appears
    - browse to \Program Files\Tririga\CI folder.
    - there should be only one file with an .arx extension
    - select that file and click the Load button

The only command enabled in the Tririga menu should now be "Login"
The arx should load automatically upon opening AutoCAD, but this will get you past the issue.
    - check to see if the \Tririga\CI path is included in the AutoCAD Support Path settings.  This should have been configured by the installer.

If this is the first time configuring CAD Integrator, you will need to click the Advanced option on the login screen to enter the url of the Tririga installation (same as in the browser).  The user also need to be assigned a CAD integrator license in their Profile.
     - You will only need to set up the users' profile and log-in url the first time (unless switching environments)

Best regards,

\ken

Try installing Java version 7u67, reopen CI and check your menus.

We had a similar problem. We determined that it's not so much the version of Java that causes this problem but whether or not 32 or 64-bit version of Java is installed. On our systems, when we had Java 32-bit installed on Win7/64-bit, the menus appeared just as you're describing. When we installed 64-bit version of Java (whatever the current release was at the time last year), it worked.

So, maybe look at the version of Java installed, that's what did it for us. In any event, it's almost certainly Java related.

Known issue. Version of CI Is tied to a version of Java, checked at runtime. I'm fuzzy on the architecture issue, but I think it has more to do with having a properly installed Java version in your path. We generally have 32-bit java regardless of the OS due to oracle guidance. For us, The key was reinstalling version 7u67.

If you confirm the same, so just logging and RFE to loosen the version restrictions.
