Hey Lilly, Bob, and Mike!

If at all possible, I need your help spreading the word about the She Tris Triathlon to the Tricred's and others.

Delia has been competing in the Ramblin' Rose (now She Tris)  mini-spring series through the years. The events are women only, empowering, and introductory events to the wonderful world of triathlons. Last year I volunteered at the finish line of the Chapel Hill event and was convinced we needed one in our area. So, by luck and by pluck, I gathered a few people together, formed a steering committee, and wow... We are holding our first She Tris event in Winterville on October 11, 2025!

On our steering committee are:

Chris Davenport - Greenville Bicycle Company

Chris Lognion - Fleet Feet

Yolanda Davette - Black Girls Bike, spin instructor, champion enthusiast!

Delia Parker - Triathlete, Delia Can Do

Tony Parker - me

Dianne White - Winterville Parks and Recs Director

Mike Godwin - Aquaventure

Ce'Nedra Dillard & Joshua Meeks - Play Greenville, Greenville & Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau

I will say that the Town of Winterville is all in! They are providing police and EMT support, are helping spread the word, and are talking about a free concert the night before the event.

The event will change the lives of many people, those competing, and those who support the competitors.

I'm excited for the opportunity to share this type of event with our community. For transparency, I would like you to know that I was offered a commission for my work bringing this to Greenville and Winterville and I turned it down. I feel this is so important for the health and wellbeing of our community that it is an honor and a privilege to invest a bit of my time as a volunteer.

Given that! I need help spreading the word! If you would, please either forward this note to the Tricredibles family or just mention it the next time you see them! I do not have access to all of the members, and sincerely appreciate your help spreading the word.
