Congratulations to Jim Bullock for first place in the 75 to 99 age group at the CC Half! Outstanding performance on a tough day. Strong current and head wind for the first 1000 yards. One spectator said the slow swimmers (like me) were barely moving at the start. Windy ride up to 20 mph which we headed directly into for the last 8 miles back to Beaufort. Hot run under a cloudless sky. No problem for Jim. Great work buddy.
Jim wrapped up the awards ceremony regaling the beer-drinking crowd (free from a sponsor) with his arm around me talking about our racing against each other for 21 years. I’m texting a few of you with a video of it. Others can text me if you want to see it (I suggest a beer first). Thanks for the great journey Jimbo!
