Vote for Rotary - Free Charity Miles from United Airlines

Dear eFlash members,

United Airlines run an annual The 10 Million Charity Miles program. Current year's program has begun on December 6, 2013 and  will end on December 31, 2013. During the voting period, http://10millioncharitymiles.c om/ site visitors can vote once daily for one of the listed participating nonprofit partners. Anyone who tries to vote more than once per day will have their votes forfeited.

Each participating nonprofit partner is guaranteed to receive a minimum of 25,000 miles. The remaining portion of the 10 million total miles will be distributed to all participating nonprofit partners based on the percentage of total votes that each partner received during the voting period. The mileage donation will be distributed to all participating nonprofit partners by January 31, 2014. All calculations made in connection with this promotion will be made by United Airlines and MileagePlus in their discretion and such calculations will be considered final.

Uses during this last year include free airline tickets for youth exchange students whose family could not afford them which had previously blocked their participation in the program. A peace theme postcard contest furnished free tickets for high school students and one parent to attend President Sakuji's peace conferences. Numerous teams of doctors and surgical nurses were transported to perform life saving heart surgeries while teaching techniques to local doctors. Numerous children and their parents were transported for lifesaving treatments. Teams of journalists were provided with tickets to report on NIDs. Rotary volunteers were sent to perform NIDs. Tickets were also issued to support water projects and activities in support of the areas of focus.

eFlash_Rotary has been annually promoting the campaign with some success. Last year Rotary International came second.I feel that if the eFlash members get fully involved, we can make Rotary the number one beneficiary this year.

We request you to kindly vote daily at http://10millioncharitymiles.c om/

Best regards,

Sunil K Zachariah
