Hi,

I am working my way through understanding the tributary environment better.

Is there a way to install tributary and create gists locally (without relying on an internet connection or being logged into github)? I have node.js and mongodb installed.

I am preparing for a presentation, and don't want to necessarily rely on internet availability (I know sounds lame).

Thanks again,

Leslie

Hi Leslie,

That isn't lame at all, and makes total sense.
Unfortunately right now I only support saving gists (using github). It wouldn't be too crazy to make functionality that saves the json blob to mongo instead.
The readme should have instructions for getting it running locally. If you have any questions or get stuck feel free to email here.
Once you get that going, I can point you to where in the code you could add that functionality, but its mainly the save and gist endpoints in server.js
