These differences in piece labelling are vital for being able to correctly solve the Fisher Cube. The two images above were chosen specifically as they both show the puzzle from a face-on perspective. The red-green centre piece on the Fisher cube related to the red centre piece on the normal puzzle. From both these positions, it is easy to see how a R move would be made (the right-most layer on the standard puzzle and the triangular shaped right-most section of the Fisher cube). Keep this similarity in mind when solving the puzzle.
In this picture, the two highlighted pieces are the pairing between one of the house-shaped cross pieces and the two-coloured centre piece below it. This centre is in the correct orientation, but it can also be incorrectly oriented (most commonly the centre is on its side, but it can also be vertical but flipped). If the centre is incorrectly oriented, then you can easily fix it by rotating the cube so that the cross is on the bottom, bringing the edge-centre pair to the top and doing a U to temporarily disconnect the edge and centre. Then, simply rotate the centre so that when you bring the edge back, it will be correctly oriented. Then you can re-attach the piece to the cross and move on to the next one. Upon completion of this stage, the white cross should be solved and all four of the middle centres attached to the cross pieces should be correctly oriented.

The distance that the center piece can move up and down (elasticity). The lower the number the tighter the cube will feel. This will primarily affect the corner cutting and popping of the puzzle. (Inner Ring on the GES)
I've solved this cube successfully on about three occasions and NEVER encountered this during those solves. A few pieces have fallen out at some point. Thus, I'm wondering if this is a parity that should even exist or did I misplace a piece or two after the occasional popping that occurs with this cube? In the only full tutorial for this puzzle on YouTube, there's no mention of this specific parity. I've tried the 4x4 corner swap algorithm - (Uu)2 (Ll)2 U2 l2 U2 (Ll)2 (Uu)2 F' U' F U F R' F2 U F U F' U' F R . But, that just messes up the middle two layers beyond reversal.
Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand. The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.
This is a fun twisted 3x3x3. I find the stickers to be very sub-par. Quite a few have bubbles under neither them & started to peel off on the first use. The cube also locks up quite a bit when doing algorithms. I was hoping for more from a $19 cube. But it does look nice with my collection. :-)
I love this cube because it turns great for being a 3x3x3 rotated , its really fun to solve and its perfect for being your first 3x3 modification , I even prefer this cube than the Eitans fisher twist cube . The only reason why I gave this cube 4 stars is because of the stickers ( I know that the cube is rotated so the stickers can get damaged but also calvin stickers could be better )
Drift Fisher is an amazing shape mod cube by cubelelo. The crazy shapes can help turn into making it a fun challenge, and features very smooth turning. The hand feel of drift is upgraded to give a wonderful feel while solving. The cube comes tensioned and lubed already, however we recommend to buy Cubelelo silicon lubricants for more lubrication and smoothness.
The Fisher Cube is a shape-mod of a 333, meaning it has the same mechanism as that cube. It was made by Tony Fisher and is the cube Tony Fisher is most known for. Basically, it is a standard 333 which has had its cuts rotated 45 about the Z (white-yellow) axis, so that the red-green-orange-blue edges and centres are swapped, and the white-yellow edges and corners are swapped.
A similar cube is called the Windmill Cube. It is also a shape-mod of a 333, but instead of a 45 angle, it is shifted at a different angle so that some of the cuts pass through the edges of the cube.
