PCB manufactures sensors used by design engineers and predictive maintenance professionals to test and measure vibration, pressure, force, acoustics, load, and shock in research and development as well as industrial applications.
To ensure the reduction of harmful emissions produced by the internal combustion engine, the lambda or oxygen sensor has become an important piece of technology. As the leading supplier of oxygen sensors both for OEMs and the Aftermarket, Niterra is continually improving its oxygen sensors to make engines cleaner and more efficient.
With its NTK oxygen sensors launched in the 1980s, Niterra was among the pioneers in this field. Since then, the reduction of harmful emissions has made significant advances, not least thanks to the development of innovative technologies and extensive research.
Today, highly efficient ceramic heaters in lambda sensors ensure, for example, that the sensors start measuring sooner and respond faster. To achieve more accurate measurements in order to meet the ever more stringent Euro standards, huge efforts are being made in the continuous improvement of the ceramic components. In addition, a variety of sensor types have been developed catering to specific applications. They include broadband sensors and lambda sensors whose electric resistance changes depending on the air-fuel ratio.
Titanium dioxide lambda sensors were used as a regulating and as a diagnostic sensor, depending on the vehicle. This technology is no longer used in original equipment. However, they are still offered by Niterra to the Aftermarket.
Broadband lambda sensors are capable of issuing a signal proportional to the residual oxygen content of the exhaust air. These sensors are used as regulating and diagnostic sensors for petrol and diesel engines.
Powerful solutions for almost any industrial needHoneywell offers one of the broadest switching and sensing portfolios available in the industry. With products ranging from snap action, limit, toggle and pressure switches to pressure, position, speed and airflow sensors, we have a product to meet basic and complex design challenges. We provide global engineering and service support, value-added capabilities and custom-engineered solutions that offer enhanced precision and ruggedness.
More than 60 years ago Don Bently launched his first industrial product: the eddy current proximity sensor. The decades since that achievement have seen the quality and diversity of our high-quality proximity sensors evolve to include transducers that detect the presence of acceleration, velocity, and pressure. The proximity switch levels cover a variety of sensing distance needs.

Similar to the Wizard Catalog, the Sensor Catalog is a hierarchical tree made up of libraries, categories, and sensors. By default, both catalogs share an identical library structure that is created, along with Applications, in the Admin Tool Tool.
Addressing the growing demand for force and strain sensors needed to manufacture precision transducers and for stress analysis test and measurements, Micro-Measurements Advanced Sensors strain gages offer a tighter resistance tolerance, improved gage-to-gage repeatability, and better stability than standard strain gages while their advanced fabrication process helps to significantly reduce lead times.
