Hey all,

I do believe it's best to stop allowing new members. It's nice to cultivate the energy that exists in the group and work towards a group consensus.

I like the newbies who came in:)

This does not mean that down the line people cannot help out, there will be a time were we need tons of volunteers and we'll need people to step up.

I want to thank you for the last meeting, not only was it a meeting of the minds it enriched my soul. Thanks for letting me speak my truth. Every step counts!

Peace and love

Willy

Hello All,
thanks for an amazing working meeting this weekend!
thanks woo for setting up the Doodle.
I honour Suresh and Sobey's list of who to include in this email announcement regarding the next two meetings.
I consider these next two meetings as Core meetings and have a strong preference of not inviting new people to those two meetings at least.
As I requested in our last meeting, I hope we vote soon and make a firm decision in regarding adding new people to the core group.

thank you Sobey for your clear and detail summary of our neccessary liasing or connecting with Core members of Tribal Harmonix.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi all, I also support Leah's involvement and she's sent her bio to me to share with the group. For Mane I'd like to see his bio too and how it relates to Phase 1. I like the sense of having some level of gender balance in the group. A note also that doodle can be used for online voting should we choose.
Another consideration is people who have been involved in this process who have given input on this process since we began it after Intention 11. Most of those people have attended Intention which I think is an obviously ideal pre-requisite to being involved in this group along with our other related events ie. Earthdance, Entheos,Towards Eden. Included in this category are Core members of Tribal Harmonix which I feel it's of utmost importance to eventually integrate into what we're doing as they have been waiting to hear about where this is all going and have shown support. The Core also manages the sound system, the bank account, and is the official host of Intention retreats as most of you know.

As for the presentation I think this is something to approach not as a meeting but as a work party and should be underway already. The key people that have committed to it should be the ones meeting I think and then what we should schedule is a meeting to present it back and gain feedback prior to showing it to investors. This would double to give each of us the most unified story about the vision and approach to this project.

Hey Folks,

As  you can see, my availability is not so great prior to my trip to NY. I am going with four others from Vancouver and we have a bunch of work to do. I am also coordinating activity with others in NY which includes being a part of the occupation.... This activity will consume most of my time until I return.

It should be noted that I will help with the business plan regardless of whether I am the lead or not. Once the presentation is complete and I see how the story gets framed it will be easier to nail this down...

In terms of the boundaries of this group... I think that those that have recently been included and have shown an interest should be invited to participate but that we should collectively decide not to continue to invite new people. Of course we need to decide as a group to honour this if others think it makes sense.

Those that I feel have reflected a strong interest recently are Leah and Mane. I would support including them in the process.

Priscilla is already in the group and has been receiving emails as well as an invitation to the last meeting. She is also keen to be involved and support our activity.

Zamir has been in the group from the beginning and has attended a meeting (meetings?). He is also an active leader in the community... and family...

I would recommend removing all others from the tribal gathering space email list...

What do you think?

Hi lovelies!

Please fill in all your availability by Wedn Oct.12 so we can establish 2 meeting dates from this one Doodle!  (they need to happen before Oct.24)

Doodle link:  http://www.doodle.com/uvwua697gkds7ni3

I haven't sent this to the tribal gathering google group yet - wanted to double-check that it is ok to send to the whole group?
Or shall we keep these 2 meetings contained to the core group?  I don't recall the end result of that question...

Please let me know if there is anyone else i should forward this doodle to:
Mane?  Zamir?  Emmanuel?  And also Priscilla? (I don't have her email)

thanks Willy.
We need to vote on this and stick to a decision.
I was hoping to do so the last meeting, but folks were not ready.
As sobey suggested, maybe a voting system can be created on line, or
we need to take it up at our next meeting....

I'm cool with a temporary cap on more people involved but as mentioned keeping the "allies" list very well organized and bearing mind that the Tribal Harmonix Core should be integrated on plans shaping.

Thanks, Sobey.
Sounds like an excellent suggestion.

Does everyone here agree?

Once the doodle for the next meetings are set, we can be very minimal on attendance of those two fundraiser/presentation oriented meetings.
the fundraiser meeting should also be closed to the core group.

thank you all,
Mimi

Jeet K, Ra'am, Sobey & Leah began work on the presentation yesterday evening and have the story arc that Jeet K is going to e-mail to us and to Woo and Mimi who were considered in prior meeting to be key people to have included in the presentation. A prior meeting on one of the doodled dates was considered a good opportunity for the larger group to practice the presentation, get feedback and make final amendments before showing it. At that time it was thought that having input from Erik, possibly Elijas who is a professional fundraiser, come and give their feedback would also be helpful. As for the Core I think they should be kept informed but that we are not going to crowd the room before an investor which I think everyone would agree with.

Thoughts?
S.

Please clarify in light of these details...
1) From the doodle, we set 1 meeting for the core group to refine the presentation that JK, R, S and L have worked on last night?
2) From the doodle, set 2nd meeting for doing a test run of the presentation to Erik and Elias?

Woo,
That sounds correct to me.
The first meeting will also have other neccessary agenda items.
ie: voting on core group admittance in future meetings, core group update on commercial realty specs, etc..

Thank you very much for setting these up.

Sobey,
I agree with all you propose in your most recent email.
Thanks to you and the presentation pod for working more on the presentation.

Blessings to all,
Mimi

Meeting #1:  Refining the presentation
It looks like Monday Oct.17 at 7pm would be the best day for most people (though i cannot attend).

Meeting #2: Trial Run of Presentation
Best date seems to be Sat Oct.22 at 1pm.
However, if we do want Erik and Elias there, we'd need to send them the invite and hope the date works for them.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Woo,
sounds like those are the best two dates.
Can you send a confirmation email to the group included in this email (including Eric, Elijah, Pricilla,(was sick last week, wants to help) and  Leah..) and any other Sobey mentioned?

This confirmation email could also include a request for meeting place as well...

Thank you very much!

PS I am sorry we won't see you on Oct 17, but look forward to more later..
