Hi Folks,

 

Time to feed out your freezer! Hopefully, our quarterly order is coming up. IF we decide to try another order with Hare Today the order would open the last couple of days of June and close around July 2. That way we can take advantage of the specials in both months.

 

For the last year or so, we have had some problems with members ordering late (the order has a SET time-frame) and/or the order not meeting the minimum of $1,000 in a timely manner with members having to make up the balance of order at the last minute. This is extremely frustrating for Tracy, owner of Hare-Today, because it makes her have to hold food in her limited freezer space not knowing if we will successfully complete our minimum order or not. It also messes up her schedule of shipping when we don’t fulfill our order in the timeframe established. She does not have these problems with other coops but she is willing to give us one more chance. I would like to make sure we keep our ability to get the discounted shipping. Sure, we can all order individually and have it shipped to our homes instead of a bulk order shipped to Suzanne’s, but it will cost more.

 

Someone suggested that we take a poll to determine if we can fulfill a coop order for June/July before contacting Tracy at Hare Today. I think that is a good idea. Please respond to this email with your intentions.

 

1)      Will you order or not (please respond either way)?

 

2)      If you are planning to order, approximately how much do you expect to spend?

I am new to this group but would love to be in on this purchase.  How much is it per pound and what are typical order sizes?  I have a 50 and 68lb-er do my order would be a decent size.

I would order my usual $250 or so. You can go on the Hare Today website and see prices. You can also email Tracy from that website for the specials but she may not know them yet.
