Which day should we hold a turkey doubles tournament in Raleigh?
November 22nd (weekend before thanksgiving) (earn extra exercise so you don't feel bad later)
November 29th (weekend of/after thanksgiving) (burn off some calories)

The tournament will be a one day event (7-8 hours) Saturday. Double partners will be drawn from a hat. The number of people who enter the tournament will determine how many games and how long we play. For example. if 16 people show up, we can play 8 teams for 8 hours with 6 games per team. the more people who show up, the less games per team. Ideally, if we can get 28 people signed up, that will be 14 teams playing 3 games each for 7 hours. A great day of handball if you ask me.

$40 per person, $20 for youth (<25yrs), FREE for youth (<18yrs) AND Female players (any age). A portion of the proceeds will go towards the YMCA fundraiser campaign, the rest to the handball club at NC State to send (currently) Our two female members to Portland for Nationals in February. We will hold another fundraiser tournament in the spring. I will send another email regarding our fundraising efforts later today.

By responding to this email with a date, you attest that you will attend the tournament if held on that day so I am also using this as a pre-sign up. Feel free to forward this email to anyone in your area I may have missed. Please respond to this email before monday november 10th with your preferred date and anyone who will attend the tournament with you. On the tenth I will send out an email to everyone that replied and let them know which date the tournament will be and any details regarding play times, etc. I will also send a mass email to everyone in the Southeast region with an official flyer for the tournament.
