Hi all,

My friend Chandra is looking for sites for some work she is doing on the genetics of Medicago polymorpha and M. lupulina. Could you email her at chandr...@gmail.com if you see any around here? She provided photos of both plants below.

Thanks so much!

Amy

Hi Amy,

I'm now a postdoc at MSU in a plant biology lab studying genetic adaptations in invasive M. polymorpha and M. lupulina. I'm trying to find new populations to sample from.  MP tends to be found along edges of fields, but MI can usually be found in any field or populated areas (e.g. along side roads). Have you seen either growing (or can look the next time you are out in the field/ "nature") or know someone who may take note of invasive plants found in the area?

Thanks,

Chandra

Also, congratulations about the job. I'm so rarely on facebook that I missed the announcement.
