Hi all,

Thanks to the postdocs who have already responded to this call! I am getting even more excited for IdeaFest after reading your talk titles!

For those of you who want to join us, but haven't yet contacted me, this email is a reminder that the deadline to register is tonight at midnight! There is still space available.

Also, feel free to email me if you have questions or if you want an extension in the deadline.

Best wishes,

Amy

Hi Everyone,

I hope that you are all having fun and productive semesters!

I am writing to announce the first event sponsored by the Triangle Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Postdoc Group-a Postdoc IdeaFest! This workshop will take place over April 10-11, and focus on sharing our conceptual interests in order to develop collaborative research project.

We have secured funding for a competitive grant program, which is intended to help defray the costs associated with starting a new, collaborative research project.

We are keen to get participation from postdocs across as many different departments, universities, and institutes as we can. Please consider joining us for a fun and productive couple of days of scientific discussion and project development!

Please see the attached files for a schedule and more information about this year's Ecology and Evolution postdoc IdeaFest. Please note that if you are interested in participating, you will need to email me your name, departmental affiliation, talk title, and a 1-2 sentence summary of your research interests (this can be very general) by midnight on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

Thanks so much, I hope to see many of you at Postdoc IdeaFest 2014!
