The mobile revolution. Telecommunications. Client-server. Interactive
multi-media. Information superhighway. Convergence.
The electronics design landscape of the 1990's is vastly different from
just a few short years ago. The technology choices, design methodologies,
and EDA support you require today, are critical in determining your
ultimate success tomorrow!
Cadence Design Systems, Inc. invites you to join us for a Technology Forum
focusing on competing in the globally competitive electronics marketplace.
Together, we'll explore the challenges of designing Systems in Silicon and
Silicon in Systems.
Whether you're designing a next-generation, submicron, structured custom
system-on-a-chip, or a high-speed, multi-layer printed circuit board,
you'll want to attend the Technology Forum. You'll gain insight, engage in
interactive discussions, and see EDA product demonstrations that address
the requirements for pushing the limits in silicon and systems design.
The Technology Forum is designed to provide you with the information you
need to navigate a course through a rapidly changing and converging
industry. This fast-paced, multi-faceted agenda is ideal for professionals
involved in all aspects and levels of electronic hardware design.
** Solutions-oriented Discussions **
We'll dig deep into the issues you face every day in designing electronic
products. In-depth discussions on a variety of topics will offer you
insight into how EDA technology, advanced design methodologies and
production-proven experience can help you meet unrelenting time and
complexity challenges. Topics we'll delve into include:
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Design 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Alta Group
Mixed-Signal IC Design 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Including Analog HDL
High Speed Board Design & Analysis 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Industry Trends & Methodologies
Language-Based ASIC & IC Design 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
HDL's and Beyond
Programmable Logic Design 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
System Design with FPGA/PLD
High Performance PCB and MCM Test with 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Fault Isolation - IMS Systems
** See for Yourself **
This technology Forum will give you a chance to test-drive the high-performance
EDA solutions you need. We will provide interactive demonstrations of a
complete range of tools and methodologies, allowing you to sample the latest
productivity-enhancing technology from Cadence. You will see front-to-back
design solutions on these topics:
* Sub-Micron IC Design/Timing Driven Design
* Mixed-Signal IC Design
* Language-Based Design / Verilog / VHDL
* DSP Design
* High-Speed Board Logical
* High-Speed Board Physical
* High-Speed Board Analysis
* Mixed-Signal / Analog Board Design
* Automatic Analog Optimization
* Language Based Analog Design / Analog HDL
* Programmable Logic Design
* Design Management
