I guess that's keepin' it real and all, but I'm still curious as to why
Dereck Whittenburg wasn't considered.

Sidney Lowe has arguably more, and higher caliber experience as a head
coach - albiet not very successful.

I mean, Whittenburg has coached at Wagner and Fordham and hasn't won
much at either place.

To me, neither one is a great pick but they are probably desperate for
anyone with a beating heart by this point.

Which raises the ancient philosophical conundrum...is failing to
win at Wagner and Fordham worse than failing to win with
Kevin Garnett?
