Diplomacy in central NC

I had to leave DipCon at UNC this weekend when I became too ill (some sort
of nasty cold/flu) to continue (I got clobbered in my first game and had a
wonderful alliance as Germany with England in the second game but then the
Russia we'd sort of agreed to leave alone for a while while we destroyed
France finally finished off Turkey and came looking for lunch sooner than we
expected -- for extra credit, diagram this sentence), but did find out
that there are apparently buttloads more Diplomacy players in Chapel Hill,
Raleigh, and Durham that I had previously known about. As I had never
been able to get a Diplomacy game together locally I had assumed that
there were either too few players to reach critical mass or that the
people who did play were already involved in games and didn't need new
players.

I'm posting this because I'd like to get together a semi-regular group to
play. I understand that Friday night is a good night to just show up at
Cerebral Hobbies in Chapel Hill and play Diplomacy, but if you'd like to
be part of a group that meets once a week or once every other week or some
such, please email me.
