MACE 2007 is gearing up for the best year of gaming ever. We are
emailing you as a past supporter to let you know about some of the
special events we are planning:
Hello all from MACE Command Central again,
I just wanted to let you all know about the 3 primary contests we're
doing at MACE this year.
Hotel Room Giveaway
We are giving away a free hotel room for the weekend. All you have to
do is pre-register by Oct.26th and you might be the lucky one who
wins. We will notify the winner by Oct. 31st. For those of you who
have already pre-registered, you are already entered to win. This also
counts for GMs have commited before Oct 26th.
Iron Mace Game Chef Contest 2007
Two weeks, three ingredients, one game. The object of this competition
is to use the provided ingredients and rules to create from scratch a
playable game, pushing your organizational, design and creative skills
to the limit! Upon completion, your entries will be read by a panel of
selected peer judges, and scored on several categories. One designer
will emerge a winner. Can you handle the heat of the Gaming Kitchen?
This year, your game can be an RPG or a Board/Card Game.

MACE GM Improv Contest
GM's are invited to show off their stuff again in the ultimate GM
challenge. Some one else write the plot and the GM gets the plot
minutes before his session. GO!

Treasure Quest
What is Treasure Quest?: A live action challenge, where gamers
actually walk through and solve puzzles and engage in "combat" in a
life-sized dungeon setting!!! Your party will choose from the
available character classes and assume that role for the Treasure
Quest!
>From room to room, your party will solve puzzles, gain knowledge and
fight your way to the final room where the treasure awaits!!! Do YOU
have what it takes to solve the Quest or slay the vile beasties
guarding the Treasure? Only the bravest, or most fanatic, need apply!
This year, TQ is free to anyone that wants to try it.
D&D Dungeon Survival
Compete in the ultimate D&D challenge. Good vs. Evil. Out hack, Out
slash.
....
We also have a variety of RPGs, Board Games, Card Games, War games,
Miniature Games, and Live Action games. The RPGA schedule will include
a Battle Interactive and a while host of Living Greyhawk modules. We
will also have Blackmoor, Witch Hunt and Heroes of Rokugan II (L5R RPG
3rd) events. Special RPG events include a full track of independent
RPGs, including WEGS (Wickedly Errant Game System), The Dark Fantasy
of Sundrah, and the Burning Wheel.
Other gaming highlights: Warmachine, Hordes, Heroclix and Star Wars
Pocketmodels.
