That's right! For the first time ever, we're running a DOUBLE-HEADER league EVERY WEEK (not just for make-up games any more). Gone are the days of driving all the way to Womble Park in Holly Springs for just one game! Get twice the games for the same amount of travel.
In the 2012 TFDA Coed Summer League every team will play 2 consecutive games against 2 different opponents on Saturday mornings, 9am - 12pm. We only have field space for 8 teams total, so registration will be capped at 160 total players (& 120 males).
Each team will play 2 games on the following Saturdays: June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 July 7, 14, 21
Championship Tournament to win the Gail Grail: Sunday, July 29th (ONE-DAY tourney with pool play rounds setting up seeding for subsequent bracket play rounds)
Where:
Games will be played at Womble ParkinHolly Springs.
**TFDA Members automatically get a 10% discount (full-time student members get 20%), and current dues-paid USA Ultimate members can get an additional 10% off by entering the coupon code "USAU" at checkout.
If you are able to procure a league sponsor by May 23, you get FREE registration! (We'll refund you, if you've already paid before then.) Check out the TFDA sponsorship package for details. (Feel free to contact bo...@tfda.org for any questions.)
Additional Instructions:
Teams will be selected in a draft on Tuesday, May 24, at 7pm. Please indicate during registration if you’d be willing to serve as a team captain & pick your players to make sure that you're on the best team that drafting can form!
Keep
up with the Ultiplex on Facebook! We thought it would be a great way to
easily keep up with what's going on. And, it's a great way to help
everyone spread the word about our project.
