Reminder: Register for the Heat Stroke Hat Tournament (4th of July - that's this coming Wednesday, 7/4/2012)

Registration is now open for TFDA's 2012 edition of the 4th of July Heat Stroke Hat Tournament. What better way to celebrate independence & freedom than a full day of throwing & catching free flying ultimate discs? All ages, genders, experience levels, sizes, and shapes are welcome! And all proceeds benefit the Ultiplex project.
We will form 4-6 teams, depending on player numbers, and registration will be limited to only 120 players (and 72 males). Pool play games will determine standings for bracket play. The winning team will be deemed the Heat Stoke Hat Champions!
When:
This will be a one-day all-day tournament on Wed, July 4, 2012, starting at 9am and lasting until around 5pm.
Where:
TBD - final determination will depend on availability. We'll either be at Cedar Fork District Park in Morrisville, Davis Drive Park in Cary, or Hooker Turf Fields in Chapel Hill (if the weather is too wet for the grass fields).
Cost:
Only $18/player
(TFDA members save 10% & full-time student members save 20%).
Additional Instructions:
Players will receive an email about 1-2 days before the tournament to announce team rosters & shirt colors.
BRING LOTS OF WATER, SNACKS, & SHADE TENTS!!!
