Looking for Resources/Support for Starting a Middle School Team

Hi TYULers:

I would like to try to form an ultimate team at West Cary Middle
School next year. I know that Orange County has quite a few teams, but
as far as I know Wake County has none. I would assume that in order
for this to work there would need to be other MS teams in the county?

Although I've captained teams and coached in the TYUL, I have no idea
what it takes to start a team at a public school--how do I approach
the school with the idea, how do I get support from TFDA/TYUL/
USAUltimate, etc. etc. If there's anyone out there who's gone through
this and can help guide me I would appreciate it.
