Hi everyone,

Just an update for those who couldn't make it!

Our first day moving in to the space and hanging out went awesome.
Thanks to everyone who came out: Drew, Lisa, Mike, Noel, Justis, Alan,
Caleb, Ed, "Dennis", Constantina :) & Dad (sorry didn't catch your
name!), Scott, Tanner, Chris, Victor, Lenore, et al!

There will be someone at the space definitely between the hours of 3pm
and 7pm tomorrow (Sunday), and keys *might* be available then. I will
update the list accordingly once we know if we can hand out keys
tomorrow. Otherwise, we'll definitely be collecting paperwork and
handing out keys on Tuesday at our first meeting in the new space.

Here's a picture of the current setup. There's also a couch and some
additional storage that you can't see here, but it's a good shot of
the general progress:

So excited for the continued development of the awesomeness.

Cheers,

Hey Alan, nice rack! :-)  No, seriously, where'd you find the parts bin thing?
And Mike, excellent find on the tables! TROSA's yardsale rocks.

Keys WILL NOT be available today -- and the space will open at 4pm, if anyone was planning on coming by. Sorry for any confusion!

Actually, I had the rack sitting in my garage not being used. I intended
it for my bonus room, but the ceilings and knee-walls are too low.

I got the parts bin unit from Grainger -- I was looking for something to
organize my own tech bench in my garage. The guys on their loading dock
set it down too hard and smashed the bottom of it. Since I had just
bought a ton of industrial-type shelving from them, and a bunch of bins,
they gave the $700-unit to me for free -- with the pallet still bolted
on it and all.

Anybody need a 3'x4' pallet for anything?
