Memorial Day Ride (Dam Ride)

Hi everyone,

   Here's the scoop. We will meet at the park in Oak Ridge ( corner of Linville Rd and Lisa Rd ) I have no idea of the name of the park. Be ready to roll at 9:00am for a 45 mile ride. This ride takes you through historic Stokesdale and then around Belews Lake and then back to Oak Ridge. There will be one rest stop along the way to re-fuel. I will provide cue sheets and will ride sweep. Look for us to split into two to three smaller groups, with the faster group averaging about 17-18mph. The slower group should look to average between 14-15mph. This will be a good ride just to sit back and enjoy the scenery and log some extra miles. Mark your calendars for 05/28/2012.
