At Piedmont.Bike , we think that it is important for cyclists to have a basic knowledge of how their bikes work. That includes knowing the names of the parts of a bicycle. If for no other reason than to be able to converse effectively with shops and mechanics when repairs are needed.
That said, our newest feature on the website is a fun quiz that tests your knowledge of common bicycle parts. You can find a link to the quiz under the LEARNING main menu drop-down. Or go directly to the quiz at https://piedmont.bike/quiz .
Need help or a refresher? We have a handy bicycle parts diagram on the site. The diagram can also be found under the LEARNING main menu drop-down, or directly at https://piedmont.bike/diagram .
