The next Critical Mass bike ride is on Friday April 25th in the evening starting at 6:30 pm at Le Bauer Park. 8 miles at a very slow pace. We obey all traffic laws just like car drivers do, except the one where everyone drives 20 mph over the posted speed limit.

Rain or shine (preferably the latter.) Everyone is welcome. Helmets and lights are recommended.

WELL! That is great news!
This not-organized organization got rid of those ride-ahead-traffic-blockers,i.e., "corkers" eh?
Welcome to the world of niceness & normality (relatively speaking!)
If this change is for real, we welcome this group to the world of mutually respectful and courteous people.
Thanks
Dale

Sure thing Dale! We cork no more than car drivers do, as drivers regularly block the free flow of pedestrians, bicyclists, and even other car drivers every time they run red lights (which I see regularly every day) and stop well over the "stop lines" at marked intersections. In North Carolina (and most other states), every intersection is a legal pedestrian crossing whether it's marked or not - but do car drivers typically stop for cross traffic including pedestrians and bicyclists at unmarked intersections? No, they typically do not. However, I do respect you Dale as you are always a courteous driver.
